
KIB is a grassroots, volunteer-based, non-profit organization, recognized by the State of Texas, and certified as a charitable 501(c)3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Individual, civic and business contributions to KIB are tax-deductible. KIB is strongly supported by the City of Irving as well as dozens of caring individuals and local firms.
KIB affiliated with both Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful in 1992. Behind the leadership of KIB, Irving was recognized as a Governor’s Community Achievement Award in 1996 by the Office of the Governor, the Texas Department of Transportation and Keep Texas Beautiful.
The board meets every third Wednesday of the month, except December, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the KIB Office, 3000 Rock Island Road. Please call ahead.
